I'm blogging under the wife's account because i just updated her account to the new google user so that she will finally start blogging again.
also, the new teenage mutant ninja turtles movie looks bad... and why is it called TMNT? remember when new kids on the block tried to make a comeback and they called them NKOTB?

A former youth guy who was at our church a few summers ago had a thing for acronyms- an obsession actually. He changed the name of the youth ministry to NRG. I said, "what does *nurg* mean?" and he said, "No -- it's proununced en-er-gy". Obviously I had fallen off the cool truck because I hated stuff like that. When they formed a college area, he actually handed me a post it full of acronyms. I didn't use them but my college peeps and I did consider c.r.a.p. (college rejects and professionals). I wasn't into the turtles but my brother was. The rat always sort of freaked me out (but not as much as the giant brain under the glass dome...that was TMNT right?)
What did NRG stand for? Was it even a real acronym, or just a bunch of letters?

seriously...the whole NKOTB thing was ridiculous and as soon as i saw adds for TMNT, my thoughts mimicked yours...awesome! who's in for a boycot?!
