I've rearranged the furniture in my office/studio area. Now I just want to find reasons to be back here. So far, instead of art, my reasons have become reading, and now writing, blogs. Of course I'm telling myself I can't really get started on anything because I have to start packing and cleaning and stuff for the trip to Florida. While there's the beach and the pool, I'm sure I'll be sucked into the cable, malls, and movie theaters. I'll see if I can't make other things happen though like a segway tour of Naples! or at least some Kayaking or something...
I'm actually enjoying the time off to watch some good movies, including Frost/Nixon and Synecdoche, NY. It was a GREAT movie, but a few of my friends would disagree... that's okay. Wife's checking the movies in FL now so that she can pick out some "fun" and "happy" movies because she just can't "deal with a bunch of sad movies. [She] just can't do it."
I did acupuncture for the second time yesterday. Not sure if it's for me. I'll try again, but I don't know... the first time I felt relaxed yet energized... this time I got all cramped and bruised... Of course the first time was just to check it out and this time it was to do specific things so there were more needles and new points.
Listening to Sounds Familyre Christmas! (thanks to Chloe's facebook for clueing me in.)

I can't watch sad movies on Christmas either. And yet I'm going to see Benjamin Button later today, and that can't end well, and so I'm already breaking my no sad movies rule. Last night I watched A Muppet Christmas Carol.
The beach in winter is far superior to the beach in summer.
Merry Christmas cute NYC friends (and dog)!
