red, white and blaine?

so i watched the amazing(!) david blaine tonight. he boggles my mind, and i am in awe of him. when he was coming out of his bubble i noticed the camera kept showing this kid that looked very familiar to me. then i remembered, michael, from my clowning class in college. michael, a shy, overweight, freshman major in who knows what. then the announcer says, "david blaine's brother, michael, just graduated from nyu..." wtf?!? ok, i guess i was in class with david blaine's brother michael for a whole semester and didn't know it.

Nice post title. Yay title!

There's a hall-of-fame NFL quarterback named Y.A. Tittle. His name makes me think of the library term "Young Adult Title." I wonder if anyone has written a young adult title about Y.A. Tittle.

Q: What does the "Y" in "Y.A. Tittle" stand for?
A: Yelberton.

I'd buy this book for a dollar.

BONUS ANECDOTE: When I was 8 I accidentally cut off most of my right eyebrow with the small scissors on my Swiss Army knife, a Christmas gift from my parents.

David Blane kinda creeps me out. I can't put my finger on why that is other than that it's just how it goes. Most illusionists creep me out I think. Pen and Teller = creep me out. David Copperfield = creep me out. I guess I should never be a magician's assistant. But wouldn't it have been cool if his brother just vanished in class one day or something? :)
