The wife was away this weekend... another wedding in Ohio. Weddings and babies, weddings and babies, it is time for weddings and babies.
I stayed home to get lots of work done. I find that for some reason I don't fall asleep easily when I'm alone. When the wife is home, I'm often the first one in bed, and occasionally fall asleep before she's there, but I just can't fall asleep when I'm alone in the house. I've found that what works best is when I setup the laptop next to the bed, put the dog next to me, and watch a violent, suspenseful, yet smart, movie. I always fall asleep to the movie. I've decided to call this, in incredibly poor taste and in direct answer to an inside joke, my chernobyl lullaby. Friday night it was No Country for Old Men and Saturday night it was Pulp Fiction.

I hear ya with the weddings/babies cycle! And I like how you use movies and the wife uses the euk to pass the time while the other is away.
