chili

It's quite freezing in my office today. Of course most people got the day off, but not us. About 5 years ago the school decided to be "PC" and have MLK, jr.'s day off... this means that the school no longer takes president's day off. Whatever... it's not like I know how to celebrate a day for presidents. Plus, at work, I was thrown another gig of ram to shove into my laptop, woot woot (Static Sensitive!).

My wife is making turkey chili. I am excited. She doesn't cook, so I am fairly nervous too.

Kira gave me a book last week (last week?) and she gave me the 1st of only 4 copies. Then I selfishly asked if I could get the image from the book that was unbound so I might frame it for the wall. Nay. But that's okay because the book sits pretty on the mantle and the powerline/bird painting she made us still needs framed. Perhaps pictures of these things will come soon.

I attempted to eat vegetables and dip for lunch, but the chili office forced me out for soup.
